Orders placed by 3.30pm Monday to Friday will be dispatched the same day (if the item is in stock) by our delivery warehouse. Prices for different order values and different shipping zones can be viewed during the checkout process. If we are out of stock on any or all items, they will not be processed on your order. Chicago Lathe will automatically notify you by e-mail when any out of stock items are re-stocked in our warehouse. Machine orders require a 24 hour notice for truck pickup, so orders are processed the following business day.
Chicagolathe at times offers free freight as part of our tool promotions in the lower 48 states. Alaska, Hawaii and international orders will be billed according to the costs. Our normal shipping is by USPS ground, but you may request a quotation for special expedited shipping at and extra fee. Any time or date given for delivery by Chicago Lathe is given in good faith based on normal delivery times only. We will not be responsible for incidental or consequential damage due to lost or delayed shipments.
You may return most new, unopened tool items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). Bridgemill machines are sold with a 1 year return policy and any machine returned prior to one year from delivery will be charged a re-stocking fee based on the condition of the returned machine and the buyer will be responsible for all freight charges related to the transaction.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). Original freight charges on free freight promotions will be deducted from the refund in the event that the return is the result of customer order error or change of mind.
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the 'Complete Orders' link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
