SHIFTER HANDLE ASSEMBLY FOR LATHE OR MILL
This is a shifter handle used to shift gears on a lathe, mill or any other machine.
Made of steel and precisely machined, very useful where you want to build a F-N-R gear shifter or a Hi-Neutral-Low selector.
It could even be used to make contact on switches for various electrical applications.
The handle body is threaded for an 8 MM set screw which acts on a spring and adjusts the tension on a detent ball.( all included) The center of the body has a .5" hole 1" deep where you shaft will insert. It also has a hole for a taper or split pin to secure it to a shaft.
The hole is drilled only 1/2 way through, so you can insert your shaft and drill the rest of the way to set your position perfectly.
The main body is made of heavy cast steel and has a nice bevel to give that professional look and a nice chrome handle rounds out the kit. To design and fabricate a unit like this would take hours.
MAIN BODY OD 2.0"
MAIN BODY THICKNESS 1.06"
SHAFT HOLE 0.5"
SHIFTER HANDLE 2.75"
