STEPPER MOUNTING KIT FOR DIY CNC CONVERSION WITH GEAR DRIVE
This is a stepper drive kit for your DIY CNC conversion which also allows you to have a gear drive function.. The mounting block is made of cast iron and is machined to accept the NEMA 34 stepper motor with the proper recess and includes the 4 mounting bolts. The block is also drilled and counter bored for 2 8MM socket head bolts to bolt to your assembly( 5/16" will work also). Also included is an 18XL037 drive pulley for your stepper motor with 1/2" bore and set screw. The driven pulley is a 42XL037 size and has a dual diameter hole to fit over your lead screw. It has a 12 MM bore with a set screw 30mm deep on the pulley end, then stepping up to an 18 MM diameter 26 mm deep on the gear end.The gear is a 30 tooth module 1.5 which is the most common gear style used on all imported machines. With this unit you can add CNC to your gear driven machine while retaining all your gear drive functions. A real time saver when trying to design that drive system for your lathe, mill or other device. Just determine the belt length you want and locate the mount on your machine and your are done.
